DAY 2

We travel by train to Windsor for a day exploring this Royal Borough. We visit the Queen's weekend home, Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world. An audio guide takes us through the Castles main sights and, if open, we can visit St George's Chapel. This afternoon we take to the water as we enjoy a leisurely cruise along the Thames, taking in fantastic views of Windsor Castle and the nearby Eton College.

DAY 3

After breakfast, a private transfer takes us to the Brooklands Museum. Brooklands was the world's first purpose-built motor racing circuit, constructed in 1907 and was the birthplace of British motorsport and aviation with the museum charting this history. It is also home to Delta Golf, an early development of Concorde used for testing and international marketing. We get to step aboard this iconic aircraft with a tour that evokes memories. This afternoon is free to spend at leisure in the market town of Maidenhead.

DAY 4

This morning, we head to the historic university city of Oxford where there is free time to explore this medieval city. Nicknamed the 'City of Dreaming Spires', you may wish to head to New College Lane for an iconic view under the Bridge of Sighs or to the world-famous Ashmolean Museum with its collections of art and archaeology. This afternoon, our private transfer takes us to the Chinnor & Princes Risborough Railway for a return steam journey. We tuck into a Ploughmans lunch as the train takes us along the base of Bledlow Ridge.
