In the highly unlikely event of our insolvency, Railtrail Tours ABTOT and ATOL memberships ensure all monies paid to us in advance for a booking will be refunded so you can relax knowing that you are fully protected on any Railtrail Tours holiday.

 

ABTOT

Railtrail Tours is a member of The Association of Bonded Travel Organisers Trust Limited (ABTOT Member No. 5577) who provide financial protection under The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 and, in the highly unlikely event of our insolvency, protection is provided for Non-Flight Packages.

 

ABTOT cover provides for a refund in the event you have not yet travelled or repatriation if transportation was included in your package. Please note that bookings made outside the UK are only protected by ABTOT when purchased directly with Railtrail Tours Ltd.

 

In the unlikely event that you require assistance whilst abroad due to our financial failure, please call our 24/7 helpline on 01702 811397 and advise you are a customer of an ABTOT protected travel company.

ATOL

We provide financial security by way of our Air Travel Organiser’s Licence (ATOL No. 9056) for Flight-Inclusive Packages.

 

ATOL, which is part of the CAA, provides financial security when booking a package holiday with a UK travel company and protects you from losing your money or being stranded abroad in the highly unlikely event of our insolvency.

 

When you buy an ATOL protected product from us you will receive an ATOL Certificate detailing who and what is covered, as well as providing guidance on what to do if Railtrail Tours stop trading.
