DAY 1

Journey by rail from London Euston to Holyhead (with additional boarding at Stafford, Crewe, Chester, Flint, Prestatyn, Rhyl, Colwyn Bay, Llandudno Junction, or Bangor)*. In Holyhead, you will board the afternoon ferry across the Irish Sea to Dublin and, on arrival, you will meet the Tour Host and transfer to the Dublin City Centre hotel.

DAY 2

Today is a full day at leisure to spend how you please in Dublin. Explore this vibrant city with our included hop-on/hop-off bus tickets visiting some of the most famous and well-loved landmarks and hearing from the drivers who are brimming with information, history, and stories.

DAY 3

This morning, we depart by train travelling into the scenic countryside of Co. Kildare passing the Curragh of Kildare, home of the Irish Derby, and continuing into Co. Tipperary with fantastic views of the Loughmoe Castle before reaching our destination of Cork. Here, our private coach takes us to the historic Blarney Castle & Gardens with the opportunity to kiss the famous stone said to bestow the gift of eternal eloquence. Afterwards, we depart for Cobh where we visit the beautiful St. Colman's Cathedral and the Cobh Heritage Centre, housed in a restored Victorian railway station, before continuing our journey by rail to Killarney for an evening at leisure.

DAY 4

Today, we enjoy a guided tour of the Ring of Kerry taking us through an untouched landscape of rolling hills, fishing villages, and tranquil lakes on the dramatically picturesque Kerry coastline. We will visit the Kerry Bog Village Museum to gain an insight into how people lived and worked in rural Ireland before stopping in the charming village of Sneem with time for lunch. We will have ample photo stops and magnificent views as we journey past MacGillycuddy Reeks, the famous Lakes of Killarney, and the stunning National Park with the tour concluding at the Killarney hotel for our second night stay.

DAY 5

After breakfast this morning, we will travel to Limerick and our private coach will take us across the River Shannon - Ireland' longest river - with a brief city tour before our visit to the iconic Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, the most complete and authentic castle in Ireland. Our journey continues to the Cliffs of Moher with plenty of time to explore this magical area with outstanding vistas over the Atlantic Ocean. This afternoon, we enjoy a scenic, coastal journey passing quaint villages to Galway for an evening at leisure.

DAY 6

Today, we explore Connemara, a stunning section of the Wild Atlantic Way, one of the longest defined coastal routes in the world. We journey through breathtaking colours from the shadow of purple mountains to the blue and green rocky valleys, past enchanting villages, and beautiful beaches. We return along the shores of Galway Bay looking across the blue waters of the Atlantic at the unique limestone of the Burren concluding back at the Galway hotel for our second night stay.

DAY 7

This morning, we transfer to Inis Mor, the largest of the three Aran Islands, and one of the highlights of our day is a visit to the spectacular stone fort of Dun Aonghasa which overlooks the Atlantic and offers dramatic views that stretch the length of the island. We will explore the unique culture of this island steeped in Irish heritage before retracing our steps to Galway for our evening departure by rail to Dublin where we enjoy our final evening at leisure.

DAY 8

After breakfast, we bid farewell to Ireland and transfer to Dublin Port for our ferry crossing to Holyhead and onward travel to London Euston.
