DAY 1
Journey from your home station to Bristol and, on arrival, we will make our way to the Bristol Hotel, our hotel for the next three nights. This evening, we enjoy private, out-of-hours access to SS Great Britain, the ship that changed the way we travel forever, where we will have a 3-course evening meal before returning to the hotel.
DDAY 2
This morning, we embark on a wonderful journey aboard the luxurious Saphos Steam Train with lovingly restored carriages taking us back to a golden age of travel. We will be met with a glass of Bucks Fizz, enjoy a full English breakfast, and indulge in late-morning pastries on our exclusive journey to Plymouth. On arrival, we have time in Plymouth to explore the city before returning to the Saphos for a champagne reception and a selection of expertly crafted canapes as our return journey begins. A delicious 5-course evening meal inspired by the regional cuisine of our route is served on board accompanied by a choice of wine with tea and coffee to follow to complete our exquisite experience.
*Please note, smart casual attire is required for the Saphos Steam Train (jeans and trainers are NOT permitted).
DAY 3
After breakfast this morning, we have the day at leisure to explore all that Bristol has to offer. You can discover historical and heritage sites, visit the varied museums and galleries, or take a boat trip from the harbour before we reconvene at the hotel in time for our final evening meal together.

After breakfast, we bid farewell to Bristol and make our way to the station for our homeward journeys.
*Important Note: Whilst the arrangements for all described steam train travel are in place, we do reserve the right to make substitutions should it be deemed necessary for whatever reason.
