DAY 1
Travelling by Eurostar from London St Pancras to Brussels, then onwards to Düsseldorf for our overnight stay where we check in and enjoy our first evening meal together.
DDAY 2
After breakfast this morning, we enjoy a guided walking tour of Düsseldorf's Old Town strolling through the picturesque alleys and learning the history of this fabulous town. This afternoon, we transfer to board the MS VIVA MOMENTS, our home for seven nights, where we settle in and enjoy our evening meal together.
B, DDAY 3
Today, we enjoy all that MS VIVA MOMENTS and river cruising has to offer as we watch the beautiful Rhine slip by passing the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Boppard as we journey towards Speyer.
B, L, DDAY 4
This morning, we wake in the historic city of Speyer and, after breakfast, we enjoy a guided tour of this remarkable imperial city. We will discover impressive facades, romantic squares, and the fantastic cathedral that towers over the city centre with time to explore the local shops before returning to the MS VIVA MOMENTS.
B, L, DDAY 5
Today, the enchanting city of Strasbourg awaits with its idyllic half-timbered houses and picturesque landmarks which we will visit on our tour of the city learning the exciting history of these famous locations. We will have plenty of photo opportunities along the way of the most important sights.
B, L, DDAY 6
It's Christmas Eve and we arrive in Mainz early in the afternoon and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to explore the special sights, numerous monuments, delightful fountains, and spacious parks. There will be an opportunity to visit St Martins Cathedral for a Christmas service.
B, L, DDay 7
Merry Christmas! For Christmas Day, we cruise from Mainz via the picturesque town of Rüdesheim to Koblenz and, along the way, we will enjoy a Christmas programme (to be advised closer to departure) plus a delicious, locally themed Christmas lunch to celebrate the special day.
B, L, DDAY 8
It's Boxing Day in Koblenz and we enjoy a unique city walking tour to dive into the fascinating history of this beautiful Rhine town. We will wander the charming streets and squares, discover the historical treasures, and walk the picturesque banks of the Rhine. We enjoy time at leisure this afternoon, before embarking on the final leg of this wonderful cruise and enjoying our final evening meal together.
B, L, DDAY 9
We bid farewell to Düsseldorf and to Germany as we disembark and return by rail to Brussels, where we will join the Eurostar service to London St Pancras.

The MS VIVA MOMENTS is a premium ship that combines relaxation with beautiful views and offers a cosy panorama lounge, gourmet meals served in the Riverside restaurant, a sundeck with a whirlpool and putting green plus a fitness centre including a treadmill, bike, and dumbbells. All cabins provide a private bathroom with a shower and complimentary toiletries, a hairdryer, flat-screen TV, an included mini-bar, and air conditioning.
