DAY 1
Travelling by Eurostar from London St Pancras to Brussels, then onwards to Bruges and our base for three nights, the Radisson Blu Hotel, where we check in and enjoy our first evening meal together.
DDAY 2
After breakfast this morning, we discover the beautiful medieval centre of Bruges on a guided walking tour along charming streets, past picturesque canals, and impressive architecture. This afternoon, we enjoy a fantastic chocolate-making workshop to learn how to craft our own pieces of Belgian chocolate! The remainder of the day is free to explore the Bruges Christmas Market, dine at leisure amongst the festive atmosphere, indulge in some Belgian waffles, or sample some of the locally brewed beers.
BDAY 3
Today, we travel by train to Ghent, alighting at Ghent Dampoort and walking into the city centre with its cobbled squares flanked by ornate gabled buildings. There is time to browse around the Ghent Christmas Market, boasting more than 150 festive wooden chalets full of festive crafts and gifts plus a brilliant selection of warming, festive food and drink before we enjoy a brilliant boat tour through the city centre. Afterwards, we head to Gruut Brewery for a tour and tasting of their unique beer before returning to Bruges in time for our final evening meal together
B, DDAY 4
We bid farewell to Bruges and to Belgium, returning by rail to Brussels, where we will join the Eurostar service to London St Pancras.
